Garuda Indonesia announced that it will restart flight services to and from Soekarno-Hatta Airport starting Tuesday at 00.01 WIB.
The operational closure of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and several other airports has been extended due to the spread of volcanic ash from Mount Anak Krakatau.
Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi, stated that the extension of the closure of a number of airports was carried out as a conservative measure to ensure flight safety.
