Anthropic's New Claude Reflect Is Basically Spotify Wrapped Crossed with Digital Wellbeing
The dashboard summarizes chat patterns, tasks, and peak usage times while excluding incognito and health-linked conversations, Anthropic said.
On Thursday, Anthropic launched 'Reflect,' a dashboard for Claude that visualizes usage patterns and helps users analyze how they utilize the AI chatbot for specific tasks.
Developed with MIT Media Lab and the Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children's Hospital, the tool addresses user anxiety about AI reliance by encouraging mindful engagement with independent thinking.
Users on Free, Pro, and Max tiers can track activity over one, three, six, or 12 months, while setting 'quiet hours' and 'nudges' to discourage excessive reliance on Claude.
Ryn Linthicum, Anthropic's head of wellbeing policy, stated the dashboard aims to 'upskill people's usage' rather than maximize time spent, helping users become more efficient with Claude.
Anthropic plans to expand Reflect to Claude Cowork soon; future updates will include a metric tracking total time spent interacting with the chatbot, currently in beta release.
