City of Fernie breaks ground on new fire hall

The City of Fernie officially broke ground on a new fire hall, marking a milestone event for the local fire department. Located between the Fernie Police Station and Elk Valley Hospital, and close to a busy highway corridor, the new building will provide a much-needed service for the local community.
