Columbia misting stations open over weekend amid extreme heat

The misting stations are designed to help lower body temperatures and make outdoor activities more comfortable during periods of extreme heat.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– With temperatures expected to reach in to the triple digits this weekend the City of Columbia will extend the hours of its misting stations. They’re usually open Monday through Friday from 10 in the morning until 6 p.m. But for this weekend only the stations will be open on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27. The misting stations are available at the following parks: Saluda Riverwalk – 650 Candi Ln., Columbia SC 29210…
