City of Big Timber is set to sell millions of gallons of its water to Crazy Mountain Ranch

SWEET GRASS COUNTY, MONTANA, JUL 24 – Big Timber sells about 27,000 gallons daily to Crazy Mountain Ranch after the ranch lost its original water source, amid regulatory enforcement and community concerns.

The development comes after a state regulator and a Shields Valley water commissioner restricted the exclusive ranch’s access to Rock Creek water.
