City council supports changing municipal fiscal years

City of Red Deer will push to have the timing of municipal budgets changed to match the provincial and federal governments. Municipalities run on a Jan. 1 to Dec. 31 fiscal cycle. However, the province and federal governments run on an April 1 to March 31 schedule.
