City clerk to address six-vote gap after council blocks formal probe

HOLYOKE — A six-vote discrepancy uncovered during a Ward 1 recount will still be documented by election officials, even after the City Council rejected a request for a formal report on the issue. City Clerk Brenna Murphy Leary said she would prepare a write-up and run it by the chair of the Board of Registrars for inclusion in the Board’s next meeting minutes.
