Cape Town Congestion: City Announces Road Resurfacing From Sea Point to Camps Bay

The City of Cape Town has announced a month of road resurfacing from Sea Point to Camps Bay, a stretch notorious for traffic bottlenecks during peak summer season. According to the City, roadworks will take place in Sea Point, Fresnaye, Bantry Bay and Camps Bay, and run from 29 January to 28 February 2026, weather permitting.
