City accepts donations, updates parking and animal boarding fees

At the May 12 City Council meeting Lillian Stimpert made a donation to the city of two framed original flour barrel labels, from her late husband Bud’s collection of Sleepy Eye Milling Company memorabilia. While reproductions on the barrel labels are readily available, the originals are rare. Mayor Joann Schmidt said the barrel labels will hang in city hall.
