In Edirne, the Regional Directorate of Foundations held a circumcision ceremony for 30 children. Regional Director of Foundations Ahmet Saraç said, "In Sultan Bayezid II's foundation charter, written 529 years ago, circumcision of children was written as a condition of charity. We are gathered here today with you to fulfill this 529-year-old condition of charity."
