Church is furious: Police broke into the apartment of four nuns in Haifa on false suspicion that they were escort girls

The frightened nuns were released after questioning and remained in the church without answers. The police said that "they were not arrested, but as part of an operation on suspicion of trafficking in women, the nuns were brought in to give their testimony." The church is very upset about the matter and that they have not received any apology.
