Chris Appleton 'can't wait to get started' on Strictly
On Friday, the BBC announced that world-renowned hair stylist Chris Appleton is the fourth celebrity contestant confirmed for Strictly Come Dancing 2026, joining the autumn series.
Appleton, a British-born 43-year-old named a 'Hair Star' by British Vogue, has styled Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Katy Perry, and recently authored the memoir Your Roots Don't Define You.
The contestant lineup also features EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, reality star Dani Dyer, and Australian Eurovision singer Delta Goodrem, with more names expected over the coming months.
Replacing long-standing hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman are broadcaster Emma Willis, comedian Josh Widdicombe, and professional dancer Johannes Radebe for the twenty-fourth series.
Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One and BBCiPlayer this September, with further production details and additional cast announcements expected throughout the summer.
