CHP Niğde MP Ömer Fethi Gürer reacted to the seizure of unripe, green tomatoes from a farmer in Serik district of Antalya, saying, "While our farmers are crushed under debt, bailiffs are now entering greenhouses and seizing green, unharvested produce. In a country where even pigeons were seized due to debt in a different province, now even the green tomatoes on the farm are being seized."
