London's Nepalese community is devastated after catastrophic flooding killed more than 150 people and left hundreds displaced or missing in Nepal and Tibet. Members of the local diaspora are now organizing relief efforts and fundraising to support those affected.
Ten South Koreans have been safely evacuated due to floods in Nepal, but contact has been lost with nine others. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is convening the Headquarters for the Protection of Overseas Koreans and plans to dispatch a joint government rapid response team to the site on the 27th to devote all efforts to the search and rescue of our citizens.
