On August 26, a sudden flood and mudslide struck the China-Nepal border, with the Gyirong Port in Tibet becoming a horrific symbol of the disaster. On Sunday (September 6), foreign media at the scene saw that the former Gyirong Port no longer existed, and the five-story customs building was completely destroyed.
