ROBBINSVILLE, GRAHAM COUNTY, NORTH CAROLINA, JUL 22 – Eco King Solutions will invest $80.5 million to open a biodegradable tableware plant, creating 515 jobs and boosting Graham County's economy with a $743.4 million impact over 12 years.

- North Carolina officials said, citing utilities, transport and incentives, while state officials noted it's the company's first North American plant meant to reduce shipping delays.
- The 588,000-square-foot facility, vacant since 2014, is set for a $21 million retrofit and backed by a JDIG approved Tuesday by the NC Department of Commerce’s Economic Investment Committee.
- With over 500 jobs, the plant will be Graham County's largest employer, projected to add more than $743.4 million to the state economy over 12 years, and Shaun Adams said, `I am so pleased that the plant is returning to life`.
- Jobs will pay a minimum average wage of $46,707, with each grant dollar set to yield $2.06 in tax revenue, and payments contingent on meeting promised benchmarks.
