Chinese automakers gain ground in contracting European market, data shows
BELGIUM, JUL 24 – Chinese brands nearly doubled their 5.1% market share in Europe in H1 2025, driven by a 91% sales increase amid falling gasoline and diesel vehicle registrations, ACEA data showed.
- In the first half of 2025, Chinese car brands saw sales jump 91% to 347,135 units, increasing their market share to a record 5.1%, Jato Dynamics report.
