[Beijing, Kyodo] The Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau has notified families of victims that visits to the graves of those affected by the Tiananmen Square massacre, which marked the 37th anniversary of the incident on April 4th, will be prohibited. Radio Free Asia (RFA), a US government-funded radio station, reported this on April 2nd. The move is intended to suppress commemorations and allow the incident to fade from public memory.
