Moganshan Hosts Global Brands as China Steps Up Brand Building
The summit will feature forums, exhibitions and a drone show as Chinese brands push innovation and global expansion, organizers said.
The 2026 World Brand Moganshan Conference opened Saturday in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province, running through May 12. Embracing the theme "Brands Bring Better Future for the World," the event unites global brand wisdom and innovative forces.
Since 2015, Zhejiang has successfully cultivated over 5,300 certified enterprises under a province-wide initiative, driving its shift from major manufacturing hub to strong brand province. Xie Xiaoyun, head of Zhejiang's top market regulator, said the province formulated more than 3,900 "Made in Zhejiang" standards aligned with international benchmarks.
Chinese enterprises invested 1.73 trillion yuan in R&D, reflecting surging innovation vitality according to the 2025 Top 500 Chinese Enterprises list. More than 3,000 drones lit up the night sky over Fengqi Lake during an immersive brand show, integrating culture with light art.
Zhejiang Haers Vacuum Containers Co., Ltd. now serves more than 80 countries worldwide, with President Wu Zifu noting "technological innovation and brand building reinforce each other." Kweichow Moutai has established a marketing network covering 66 countries and regions, becoming a globally celebrated icon of Chinese brands.
As the permanent host city, Deqing has accelerated clustering of new quality productive forces, including artificial intelligence and the internet of vehicles. International organizations such as the United Nations Global Geospatial Knowledge and Innovation Center have established a presence, positioning the conference as an influential global brand platform.
