China's defence minister said they should "strengthen strategic coordination" with Russia, according to state broadcaster CCTV, but there was no mention of the Ukraine conflict.
While further discussions are scheduled to resume on Sunday between the Russians, the United States and Ukraine in an attempt to reach a peace agreement, Russia and China are once again showing their unity.
China reaffirmed its availability to consolidate relations with Russia, the Beijing Defence Minister, stating that both countries should strengthen strategic coordination "to bring a positive energy for global security and stability", according to CCTV public television.
