Police Search for Halloween Mask-Wearing Trio Who Terrorized Family in Virginia
Intruders wearing Halloween masks threatened a Virginia family and damaged property during a failed break-in, with police reviewing surveillance as the search for suspects continues.
- Around 10 p.m. Tuesday in Alexandria, doorbell camera footage recorded three masked intruders pounding a front door during a break-in attempt.
- McGuire said, `If you are the one that engaged in this type of behavior, we're actively searching for you,` and urged parents to come forward, emphasizing the seriousness under Virginia law.
- Knocking escalated and then the group moved to the rear of the home, breaking through a wooden fence, slashing deck screens and hitting a back window before fleeing after about 10 minutes.
