Children Enjoy Raising Silkworms; 497 Hatched, and Rooms for Cocoons Were Created at Nago Anwa Elementary School as Part of Their Integrated Studies Program.
[Nago] Fourteen third-grade students at Nago Municipal Anwa Elementary School (Principal Hirotaka Saito) are raising silkworm larvae, attracting attention from the community. After the Golden Week holidays in May, Principal Saito prepared 500 silkworm eggs for the students to use in their integrated studies. The students are diligently observing them.
