LINCOLN, R.I. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after a child was struck by a car Thursday morning in Lincoln. Police said the child was hit around 8:15 a.m. while trying to cross Smithfield Avenue in the area of Reservoir Avenue. A 12 News crew on scene saw a car with front-end damage.
