The newborn baby left in the Kaišiadorys Hospital's life window last week is safe and being cared for by doctors, the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service (SCRPAS) told BNS on Friday.
Deivydas Aidukas, head of the Kaunas County Department of the State Child Rights Protection and Adoption Service (VVTAĮT), says that the newborn baby left in the Kaišiadorys Hospital's life window in early October is safe and is being cared for by doctors.
TV3 News was the first to report on the newborn girl left in the life box. It was announced that the child could have been brought to a special cradle at the hospital on October 2. According to TV3 News, the girl has been delivered, washed, warmly dressed, and weighs about 3.6 kilograms.
