Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, led a meeting on Tuesday with experts and scientists for health issues, where it was reported that the country entered an epidemiological safety zone after the decrease in reports of febrile syndromes and arbovirosis, needed sources from the Presidency.
Dengue and chikungunya cases are decreasing in Cuba, but health authorities warn against lowering their guard. Díaz-Canel called for vector control throughout the country.
