Chikungunya Now Circulates at a "High Intensity" and on the Whole of Mayotte, According to Public Health France

In his last bulletin published Friday 13 June, Santé Publique France states that it has confirmed 882 cases of Chikungunya in the territory. For its part, over the same period the ARS accounts for 913. Compared to last week there is an increase of 136 additional cases minimum, according to Santé Publique France.
The latest Epidemiologic Bulletin of Public Health France shows that the chikugunya virus is now circulating actively and throughout the island. 882 cases have been confirmed since the virus is present in Mayotte, but this figure is probably far less than the reality.
