A Chihuahua died at around 11:45am on Wednesday on Constitución Avenue, in front of the Mobil gas station in San Juan. According to the 57-year-old complainant, her dog, who was transporting in a pet car, suddenly escaped and ended up being shocked by a driver who did not stop. The animal died on the scene. The case was referred to the Animal Abuse Unit of the San Juan Municipal Police, who will follow up on the incident.
