- On Wednesday, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan arrived in Bihar for an intensive tour to assess flood damage and review relief and rescue operations across the state's affected areas.
- Chouhan will conduct aerial surveys of flood-affected regions including Dighwara and Maner, followed by a high-level review meeting with Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary at the 'Samvad' Secretariat.
- Traveling from Hajipur Police Line, the minister will visit Tersia and Saraipur villages before continuing to inspect the Kojikaraiya embankment in Naugachhia via Bhagalpur.
- Later today, Chouhan will visit the Nawabgarhi relief camp in Munger and the Bhagalpur Polytechnic College to meet displaced families and inspect crop damage with local farmers.
- The minister will depart for Patna on Thursday morning following additional meetings with flood-affected residents, supported by senior officials from relevant Union Ministries throughout the tour.
