Chicken recalled over potential Listeria contamination
A recall was ordered for approximately 13,720 lb of ready-to-eat grilled chicken breast that may have been contaminated with Listeria, the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced on Jan. 16.A USDA spokesperson told Healio on Tuesday there are no confirmed illnesses linked to the potentially tainted chicken and that no outbreak is expected.
