Outright Games Teams with Animation Studio Aardman to Make Chicken Run: Eggstraction
UNITED KINGDOM, JUN 23 – Chicken Run: Eggstraction is a cooperative stealth game featuring original voice actors and new villains, expanding the franchise into interactive entertainment after 25 years, Outright Games said.
- Outright Games and Aardman are releasing Chicken Run: Eggstraction, an action-stealth game launching this autumn on multiple platforms including PC and consoles.
- The game continues the story from the latest Chicken Run movie released in 2023, following the brave chickens as they embark on a new mission to rescue their fellow fowl from the clutches of the nugget industry.
- Players will infiltrate five fortified farms, overcoming security measures using stealth, strategy, and skills while playing solo or local co-op with a friend.
- Sean Clarke of Aardman said the collaboration is a fantastic chance to expand the Chicken Run brand, while Stephanie Malham of Outright called it the first Chicken Run game in 25 years.
- The game features Bella Ramsey and Josie Sedgwick-Davies reprising their roles from Dawn of the Nugget and includes new villains plus a cameo from the Wallace & Gromit franchise.
