- The evacuated newborns were transferred to Ghati Hospital, MGM Hospital, and Sanjeevani Hospital with family consent. Hashmi confirmed the facility has since been cleaned and resumed routine operations.
- Police officers from the Jawaharnagar station reached the scene and cordoned off the area to manage the incident. No patients or staff members sustained injuries during the emergency.
- This incident marks the second NICU fire in Maharashtra within ten days. A previous blaze at the District Women Hospital in Amravati killed three newborns and led to 36 rescues.
