Cherries infested with ‘chomping’ European fruit fly intercepted at Michigan airport

WAYNE COUNTY, MICHIGAN, JUL 25 – U.S. Customs intercepted cherries carrying the European cherry fruit fly, a pest threatening Midwest orchards, with infestations confirmed by USDA specialists this July.
