- Wolfe collaborated with producer Jennifer Decilveo to shape the album after realizing she was "self-abandoning" in her life, a realization she describes as a "dark night of the soul" moment.
- Moving away from her 2024 electronic sound, Wolfe incorporated guitar-heavy arrangements, including a contribution from guitarist Troy on 'Swallower.' "This is the perfect spot to give Troy another space," she said.
- Last month, Wolfe unveiled the title track and 'Death Is Not The End' to tease the album, planning her first live performance at London's The Dome before headlining ArcTanGent Festival.
