It has become the first NHS Trust to start using augmented reality technology. Doctors are using the large, 3D models, to better explain diagnoses and disease progression to their patients. Endometriosis happens when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows outside the womb, causing pelvic pain, infertility, and fatigue.
