Latvian forward Sandis Vilmanis put an end to the Florida Panthers' victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday in a National Hockey League (NHL) test match with a precise shot into an empty net after a pass from defenseman Uvi Balinskis.
Latvian hockey players Sandis Vilmanis and Uvis Balinskis successfully played an NHL preseason test game. Balinskis won the puck at the end of the match, but Vilmanis shot it into an empty net, helping the Florida Panthers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5:3.
