- Authenticated as a genuine Cubist work, the painting is estimated to be worth between 12 and 15 million euros. "This discovery was made during a search carried out as part of an investigation into drug trafficking," the Creteil prosecutor's office said.
- On Friday, four people appeared before a court for an immediate hearing regarding the case, as authorities processed luxury clothing and cash seized during the Paris raid.
- The recovered artwork belongs to a woman from Singapore; comparable pieces like Woman in Beret and Checkered Dress have sold for high prices at auction.
