"An Intrusive Method": Illegal Anti-Immigration Operation Makes Teeth Grow in Gironde

The prefecture has carried out systematic checks on commercial buses to combat illegal immigration, a "violent" process, according to the associations.

This Tuesday morning, a police operation took place at the Chalon-sur-Saône railway station in order to monitor the buses and to verify the administrative situation of the passengers. This national system, commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior, targets particularly the Flixbus because of their accessibility for foreign nationals.
