Michel Picard died on Saturday 11 July in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc (Haute-Savoie). The former entrepreneur and wine dealer, well known in Burgundy and beyond, had also been mayor for 19 years in Chagny. He, in his professional life as in his political life, marked the territory.
