According to the Minister of Communication and spokesman of the Chadian government, Gassim Cherif Mahamat, the Council of Ministers of 29 May 2025 in Ndjamena has validated a new National Development Plan (NDP), called "Chad Connexion 2030", whose total cost of implementation is approximately 18,000 billion FCFA (approximately 30 billion USD).
