The trade union centre still claims increases of at least 150 euros for all workers and wants to anticipate to 2027 the rise of the national minimum wage
Trade union central presents a salary proposal that advocates increases of at least 15%. "Workers need wages that allow them to live decently throughout the year and not in a single period."
The decision was announced by Tiago Oliveira during the presentation of the Trade Union Central's Reclaim Policy for next year.
The demonstration will be preceded by a month of action, mobilization and struggle, with the aim of discussing with the workers the claim action.
The CGTP will hold a major national demonstration in Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra on 17 October. The trade union center demands a wage increase of at least 15%, with a minimum of 150 euros, and it wants the minimum wage at 1,100 euros already in 2027
During these days, various actions will be carried out in companies and workplaces, including plenary sessions and concentrations at the company's door.
