The State Office for Nuclear Safety (SÚJB) has authorized the semi-state ČEZ to use new nuclear fuel from the North American company Westinghouse at the Temelín nuclear power plant. Power engineers plan to bring new fuel assemblies to the first-block reactor during a planned shutdown at the end of this year.
