The German Left Party (Die Linke) has called on the federal government not to let Spain handle the migration crisis in the North African exclave of Ceuta and to accept some of the migrants seeking protection. The deputy chairwoman of the parliamentary group, Clara Bünger, also said that Germany and the European Union have an obligation to help ensure the care of the arrivals and provide protection to people seeking asylum.
