The highest annual increase in housing prices was observed in Bingöl, Elazığ, Malatya, Tunceli, Van, Bitlis, Hakkari and Muş regions with 27%. The real decline in housing prices has continued for the ninth month. While housing prices rose 23 percent year-on-year in August, they decreased by 6.5 percent when adjusted for inflation. In Istanbul, housing prices increased by 26.3 percent, while rent paid by new tenants increased by 34.5 percent.
