Toadera obtained 76.15% of the votes in accordance with the figures announced on Tuesday evening by the President of UNE, Mathias Morouba, who must still be confirmed by the Constitutional Council.
With a participation rate of 52.43 per cent, Faustin-Archange Tuadéra was re-elected, and the final results of the legislative, regional and municipal elections will be announced by the Constitutional Council in mid-January, after consideration of possible appeals.
