- The SPFL, Police Scotland, and both clubs agreed to the temporary arrangement, with all parties "committed" to planning future fixtures thoroughly while prioritizing safety.
- This ban does not apply to Scottish Cup ties, governed by the SFA, though arrangements for matches beyond the current season will be considered well in advance of the 2027/28 season.
