Celebrating Pride by tending to community
Unearthing the Sleeping Self Last year I wrote about celebrating Pride with honor. In June, we honor our queer elders and those who are no longer with us and all our predecessors who paved a path for future generations toward an evergreen liberation. Without prominent figures like Marsha P. Johnson, James Baldwin, Audre Lorde and many more, we wouldn’t be graced with the rich queer wisdom that continues to guide us today.
The Welsh Football Association marched on the streets of Cardiff on Saturday, as part of the Pride Cymru charity's big jamboree to celebrate, support and promote equality and diversity.
