Celaya: the Mythical Basque Shipyard From Which the School Ships of the Armed Forces of Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela Left

Summary by Revista Defensa Infodefensa.com
What many people may not know is that, despite its flag, it is a very Spanish boat, and is that it was built by the Basque company Astilleros and Talleres Celaya, a jewel of naval engineering that operated for decades in Erandio, on the banks of the Bilbao estuary.Despite its closure in 1988, its legacy is still alive in the four great sailing boats that still sail the oceans representing Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela.
