Cda Councillor Threatened with Knife During Campaign: 'Run for My Life'

Stijn Kropman, alderman in Landgraaf and leading candidate for the CDA party in the upcoming municipal elections, says he was threatened Saturday evening while campaigning. He says a young man from a group pulled out a knife and approached him. The alderman then decided to flee. "I looked behind me and saw a young man coming toward me with a knife. I thought: run for my life," L1 News reports.
