The Central Canada Hockey League says the ownership of the Pembroke Lumber Kings will not be reinstated following the conclusion of an appeal process involving former owner Alex Armstrong. In a statement, the league said Armstrong’s membership in the league was terminated in September 2025, with the decision subject to appeal through Hockey Eastern Ontario and Hockey Canada.
