Entre Commercial Realty brokered the sale of a 142,370-square-foot industrial facility at 24210 W. 143rd St. in Plainfield, Illinois. Situated on approximately 20 acres, the freestanding industrial facility features 19 loading docks, two drive-in doors, approximately 11,000 SF of office space, heavy power, and eight private rail spurs. The property’s expansive site and extensive transportation infrastructure provide an ideal platform for a growing logistics operation. The property was acquired by a local transportation company that will utilize the facility as its new corporate headquarters. The acquisition will provide the company with the space and infrastructure needed to support continued growth while serving its employees and customers throughout the region. The purchaser was drawn to the property given its strategic location and expansive land area, which provides significant outside storage and trailer parking capabilities. The combination of a large industrial facility, substantial land, rail access, and proximity to major transportation routes made the property a unique opportunity for the buyer.
